Windows 10 Driver Verifier Detected Violation
Archived
I first got a BSOD while gaming. the BSOD stop code was 'KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE' I read up a bit on what I should do and one article suggested I run the verifier command. I did that and got stuck in a BSOD loop of stop code: 'DRIVER_VERIFIER_DETECTED_VIOLATION' and it identified gdrv.sys as the issue. It wouldn't let me back on my PC until I reset the verifier, so i booted into safe mode and ran the cmd prompt as admin and ran the command verifier.exe /reset. Now, I'm trying to figure out what this driver is and how to get rid of/fix it from causing future problems. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
